Josh Dazey

Vice President & General Counsel

Josh Dazey joined Approach as Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary in January 2016.  Prior to joining Approach, Mr. Dazey served as Associate General Counsel, Securities & Finance and Assistant Secretary at Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P., an upstream E&P MLP. Over the course of his employment at Eagle Rock, Mr. Dazey worked on a wide range of SEC reporting, equity and debt offerings, exchanges and buybacks, upstream and midstream acquisitions and dispositions, corporate governance matters and other legal functions, culminating in Eagle Rock’s merger with Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC in 2015. Before joining Eagle Rock, Mr. Dazey worked as an attorney in the corporate department of Baker Botts LLP, serving a wide range of clients including upstream E&P companies.

Mr. Dazey graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center earning a J.D. degree in 2006, and graduated summa cum laude from Central Washington University earning a B.S. and a B.A. degree in 2001. Mr. Dazey is an active member of the Texas state bar.
