Bart J.A. Van Keer joined Approach as a Senior Staff Completions Engineer in March 2017.  Mr. Van Keer has almost 20 years of operating and management experience in the oil and gas industry.  For the 11 years prior to joining the Approach team, Mr. Van Keer held increasingly responsible operational engineering positions encompassing several different basins at Range Resources.  Most recently, Mr. Van Keer served as the Operation and Engineering Manager overseeing the Northern Marcellus Operations unit.

Mr. Van Keer began his career in 2000 as a Field Engineer with Halliburton Energy Services based in Brighton, CO working the DJ, Piceance and Raton Basins.  In 2002, he joined Schlumberger N.V. as a Sandface Completions Engineer designing and implementing sandface completions for customers in the GOM.  Mr. Van Keer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
