Production Manager

Phil Stevens, Production Manager, joined Approach in February 2016.  Prior to joining Approach, Mr. Stevens was with EOG Resources since 1997. His most recent position was Division Production Manager for the Tyler Division, responsible for all Production and Construction activities in the Division’s active drilling programs in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas as well as being responsible for Safety and Environmental compliance for the Division. Mr. Stevens has 42 years of highly diversified experience in Petroleum Engineering including Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, Well Completions and Workovers on wells ranging from wells in world class oil and gas reservoirs with highly geopressured formations to shallow stripper wells.  He also has experience in oil & gas property acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. Stevens graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in June 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering with a Minor in Mineral Economics.  Mr. Stevens was elected to membership in Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society.
