Ian Shaw

Executive Vice President – Finance and Accounting

Ian Shaw, Executive Vice President – Finance and Accounting, joined Approach in October 2014. Prior to joining Approach, Mr. Shaw was with Ernst & Young LLP since 2006. His most recent position was Senior Manager in the audit and assurance practice, serving a wide range of clients including upstream E&P companies. Mr. Shaw has experience with a wide range of transactions and accounting issues including: Initial Public Offerings, acquisitions and divestitures, debt modifications, derivatives, income taxes and share-based compensation.

Mr. Shaw graduated from Texas Christian University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and in 2006 with a Master of Accounting degree. Mr. Shaw also holds a CPA license in the state of Texas.
